Wrong Kind of Rich

Setting the Biblical World View
  1. Your relationship to others
    Exodus 20:1-17
    Jesus’ command, Matthew 22:37-39
    James 2:8; You shall love your neighbor as yourself
  2. Your relationship to money
    1 Timothy 6:10; For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

I. Hoarding earthly treasures
  A. Stored up money and clothing
  B. Those treasures have faded in glory
  C. The rust of their wealth will witness against them
    Matthew 6:19-21, Storing up treasure
  D. The hoarders of wealth will be judged at Christ coming

II. Hoarding the wages from the workers
  A. The laborers were not paid their due wages
    Proverbs 3:27-29, do not with hold goods
  B. The cry of those laborers witness against the rich

III. Hoarding wages for your own wants
  A. Living in luxurious and pleasure on others money
  B. Your luxurious living is preparing you for slaughter
