Sanctification instead of impurity

1. Pleasing God or flesh
  A. Cannot go through life pleasing only ourselves
    Galatians 1:10
  B. God looks at the heart in our pleasing Him

  C. Priority to please God

2. Thou shalt not commit adultery is God’s command
  A. This command is broking when
    1. Husband or wife is unfaithful to the other
      Hebrews 13:4
    2. By having impure thoughts, desires and acts
      Mat. 5:28
  B. This command is kept by living a chaste and pure life
    Ephesians 5:33

3. Having control of your body brings glory to God
  A. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit
    I Cor. 6:19-20
  B. Your not to give into lustful passions like nonbelievers do

4. Giving in or having victory over the lust of the flesh
  A. Giving in to the flesh leads to God’s judgment
    Col. 3:23
    Galatians 6:8-9
  B. Having victory over the lust of the flesh
    1. Walk by the Spirit
      Galatians 5:16
    2. Lay aside sin and put on Jesus Christ
      Romans 13:12-14
    3. Remembering God’s Word in times of temptation
