Prayer: The Power of God’s Word

I. The Power of the Bible to lead you to salvation vs 14-15
  1. The Word gives you wisdom
  2. The Word leads you to salvation through faith in Christ

II. The Power of the Bible comes from its Author. vs. 16
  1. God is the Author
  2. He inspired (breathed) the human authors

III. The profitability of the Bible for believers vs. 18
  1. Profitable for teaching; instructing believers in Truth
  2. Profitable for reproof; rebuking those in sin
  3. Profitable for correction;
    Correcting those in error, II Timothy 2:25
  4. Profitable for training in righteousness;
    Guiding believers in God’s ways
